Men's Track and Field - Cornell College Open

Luther split its squad this afternoon with all but the distance or mid-distance athletes competed at today's Cornell College Invite. The distance and mid-distance athletes traveled to the Hamline University Invite. No team scores were recorded at either meet.

Individually, Nick Clark won the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.00. Sam Stokes-Cerkvenik placed second in the 400 hurdles (58.16), while Joshua Olson placed third in the triple jump (40-10.50).

The 4 x 400 relay team of Clark, Erik Ohlrogge, Stokes-Cerkvenik and Jonathan Williams finished second with a time of 3:26.97.

Luther top-10 performances were posted by Dan Etter and Dan Blatter both in the hammer throw. Etter posted a distance of 161-02 that ranks second all-time. Blatter's mark of 132-0 ranks eighth all-time.

Luther will return to action on Saturday, April 13 when it will host the Norse Relays. Field events and the 10,000 meters will begin at Noon.
