Elmhurst College, ranked No. 3 by the NWCA, defeated Luther 31-7 in the second round of the Gator Duals.The Norse hosted the Gator Duals at Jesuit High School, New Orleans, La.
Evan Obert (133) and Trent Flegel (197) posted the only victories for the Norse. Obert defeated 2012 All-American Dalton Bullard 6-2. Bullard entered this match ranked No. 2 in the nation. Flegel, ranked No. 3, posted a 12-2 major decision over Mike McNeil.
The loss levels Luther's overall dual meet record to 2-2. Elmhurst improved to 5-0
