Andy Ambrose and Sam Stokes-Cerkvenik headlined Norse efforts at the non-scored St. Mary's University Open.

Ambrose qualified for the finals of the 110 hurdles. He ran a 15.50 in the prelims and finished seventh in the finals clocked at 15.53. Stokes-Cerkvenik placed second in the 400 hurdles with a time of 56.29.

David Pedrick, Brock Laue and Connor Goetz were also top place finishers for the Norse. Pedrick finished fourth in the 3000 steeplechase with a time of 10:08.29; Laue was seventh in the 1500 posting a time of 4:11.47; and Goetz placed eighth in the 400 meters crossing the finish line in 51.73. Luther's 4 x 400 relay team of Kyle Hove, Erik Ohlrogge, Stoke-Cerkvenik and Devin Gilbertson, placed third with a time of 3:28.24.

St. Mary's Open Results

The Norse will travel to Wartburg College for a dual that will take place on May 2 at 4:00 p.m. This will be the final tune-up before the Iowa Conference Championships that will be held May 9-11 at Loras College.
