Luther improved to 12-16 after posting an exciting 3-2 decision over Loras College in today's first match of the second day of the Loras Invitational. Set scores were 23-25, 25-19, 26-24, 18-25 and then 15-6 in set five.

Hannah Theisen and Sophia Brown led the Norse attack posting 15 and 10 kills respectively. Hannah Wilson was next with nine, followed by McKinzy Lohberger and Kelsey Sorensen both with six. Lindsey Ryan dished out 38 assists. Brandi Knupp tallied 23 digs, while Alexis Dorschner was credited with 15 in this same category.

Earlier this year, Loras had defeated Luther 3-2 in an Iowa Conference match played on this same floor.

Luther will wrap up this weekend's action with match against UW-Oshkosh scheduled for noon.
