Luther dropped its opening match of day two of the UW-La Crosse Invite by a score of 3-1 to UW-Superior. Set scores were 15-25, 14-25, 25-19 and 20-25.
Hannah Theisen and Sophia Brown both tallied double digit kill totals with 17 and 11 respectively. Lindsey Ryan was credited with 41 assists. Brandi Knupp led the defensive efforts with 19 digs.
Superior was led by the trio of Jessica Dvergsten, Nikki Gosson and Vikki Vinokur. Dvergsten and Gosson tallied 12 kills, while Vinokur was credited with 11.
The loss gives Luther an overall record of 10-13.
