It came down to the final match in this battle for third place of the Iowa Conference Championship Duals between No. 23 Luther and No. 26 Dubuque. A 5-2 decision by Nick Pearch (285) over Kyle Fredette secured the 19-16 come-from-behind victory for the Norse.

Trailing 16-12 heading into the final two matches of the evening, No. 10 ranked Trent Flegel (197) level the score at 16-16 after posting an 11-0 major decision over Cody Ortman.

Dakota Gray (149) also gave the Norse important bonus points thanks a fall at 3:51 over Ben Schneider. Nick Scheffert (125) and Garrett Bonte (165) posted decisions of 6-5 and 9-3 respectively.

At the end of tonight's contest, both teams are now 10-8 overall.

Luther returns to action on Thursday, Feb. 14 when it travels to St. Olaf College for a dual that will begin at 7:00 p.m. in Northfield, Minn.
