Luther secured the No. 3 seed for the Iowa Conference Wrestling Championship Finals after defeating Buena Vista University 45-6. The Norse will face either University of Dubuque or Loras College one week from tonight here in the Regents Center with a start time scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Nick Scheffert (125), Kyle Windquist (141) and Trent Flegel (197) all recorded falls en route to the victory. Louis Mazzetta (133) posted a 5-4 decision over Cameron Mennenoh and Nick Pearch (285) closed out the evening with a 6-1 victory over Gable Bonner.

The win gives No. 23 Luther an Iowa Conference record of 4-2, 9-7 overall. Buena Vista falls to 1-6, 1-9.

The Norse will complete the Iowa Conference regular season schedule tomorrow afternoon at Central College. This match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. and will be video streamed by Central.
