Luther went 4-0 en route to capturing the championship of the Chuck Porter Duals hosted by Knox College. The tournament was broken up into two pools. Luther won Pool B thanks defeating Trine 30-15, NAIA Hannibal-LaGrange 44-9 and #17 Augustana-Rock Island 25-12, advancing to the championship match against Pool A champion #10 Wabash. In the title match, Luther defeated Wabash 23-18. The four wins gives Luther a dual meet record of 6-3.
