Luther placed sixth at the two-day Rochester Invitational hosted by St. Cloud State University.

Jason Orvis was the only Norse to advance to an A-final. Orvis placed eighth in the 100 backstroke clocked at 54.61. His qualifying time of 54.41 ranks fourth on Luther's all-time list. Orvis also qualified for the B-finals of the 200 freestyle.

Also qualifying for B-finals included David Carius in both the 500 freestyle and 400 IM, Tim Cutler in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke, Zack Kuntz in the 50 and 100 freestyle, Kristian Anderson in the 100 and 200 butterfly and Steve Sorenson and Eric Hild also in the 200 butterfly.

Luther will travel to University of St. Thomas for a two-day invitational that will be held Dec. 7-8.
