Luther opened its home duel meet schedule with a 184-98 victory over UW-River Falls this afternoon.
Four Norse tallied two individual titles. David Carius won both the 500 freestyle and 1,000 freestyle; Kristian Anderson was first in both the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke; Zack Kuntz won the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle; and Tim Cutler touched the wall first in the 100 breaststroke and 100 IM.
The Norse also won the 200 medley relay and the 200 freestyle relay that started and ended the meet. The 200 medley relay was comprised of Jason Orvis, Cutler, Anderson and Kuntz. The 200 freestyle won the event by 10 seconds but was not scored. This foursome was Anderson, Kuntz, Orvis and Seth Vander Horst.
Luther will host UW-Whitewater one week from today. Start time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
