A three-time place winner in the Louisiana state wrestling tournament, Anthony was state runner-up in 2007.

"I chose to make the long trip to Decorah and become a member of the Norse wrestling team after talking with three-time national qualifier Nic Barclay.

"During my time here, I've been fortunate to meet a bunch of great guys and travel to some amazing places. Co-captain Kevin Bokoski and head coach Dave Mitchell have really made a big impact on my wrestling career."
