2012 letter winner…five-year letter winner and two-time captain for the Husky cross country team...four-time Big 9 Conference all-conference honoree…helped lead Huskies  to four Big 9 Conference championships, three section championships as well as four trips to the Minnesota 2A State Meet...Owatonna placed in the top-11 every year at the state meet including a fourth place finish in 2008…also a four-year letter winner in track...member of conference championship and sectional true team championship squads…four-time recipient of the Minnesota State High School League Scholarship Award…also a member of the Norse cross country team…son of Dean and Kelly Velzke.
