Earned his first letter last season…swam for Ottumwa High School while attending Pella High School because Pella did not have a swim team…two-time letter winner…Central Iowa Metropolitan League 50 freestyle and 200 medley relay champion…also participated in football, tennis, track, and cross country for Pella Community High School...son of Rick and Karen Vander Horst
