“It is nice knowing that from August to November, every afternoon, you get to hang out with some of your best friends,” says Brock. “Everyone tries to be the first ones out to the practice field.”  

Good practice habits have paid off for Brock and his teammates. In 2011 he was a first team all-conference selection. He tallied 20 points and helped lead the Norse to the Iowa Conference championship, and Luther's sixth appearance in the NCAA national tournament advancing to the round of 16.

“When we traveled to Ohio for the national tournament--being with teammates and coaches for days at a time, hanging out--that was one my most rewarding experiences here at Luther.”

Brock is majoring in management at Luther and hopes to someday work for a company tied to the world of sports.
