Men's Soccer - Loras College

Luther fell to 0-2 in the Iowa Conference after dropping a 2-0 decision to #5 Loras College tonight in Decorah.

The Duhawks led 1-0 at halftime thanks to an unassisted goal by Erik Berkowitz, his seventh of the season. Sean Lewis (4) added the insurance goal in the 82nd minute knocking in the rebound off a shot by Jo Jo Schmidt who was credited with the assist.

Luther tallied four shots on goal for evening divided by Brock Arend, Martin Stalberger, James Garcia-Prats and Jon Gednalske.

Loras held a 14-10 advantage in shots, a 7-5 advantage in corner kicks and placed six shots on goal.

The loss gives Luther an overall record of 6-3-2. Loras improved to 11-1-1.

The Norse will be back in action one week from today when they will travel to Buena Vista University. This match time has been changed and will now begin at 7:30 p.m.
