The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) has announced that Peter Wright was named the Performer of the Week on defense for men's soccer.

Wright, a sophomore goalkeeper, gave up just one goal in 245 minutes in net this week, helping Luther remain undefeated with his first career shutout in a 2-0 victory over No. 14 St. Olaf on Sept. 5. He also shared another shutout in a 2-0 win over Macalester Sept. 9. 

Wright, who has started all five of Luther's matches, has allowed two goals in 400 minutes of play en route to a goals-against-average of 0.45.
