Luther shot a final round of 322 and finished with a three-day total of 939, and finished ninth of 18 teams at the Gustavus Adolphus Twin Cities Classic.
University of Manitoba won the team title carding a 903. St. John's University (MN) was second at 910, while UW-Eau Claire was third with a 912.
Individually, Tobias Kohl finished in a tie for 20th from the field of 100 golfers shooting rounds of 73-74-83-230. Adam Turner (T44 - 237), Sam Grotnes (T62 - 241) and Matt Axelrod (T73 - 246) completed the Norse foursome that played all three rounds. Caleb Funke placed 90th with a 255. Andrew Peter shot an opening round of 77, but had to withdraw from round two due to back problems. He competed this afternoon and shot 80.
The Norse will wrap up the fall schedule Oct. 6-7, when they will travel to Onalaska, Wis., for the Viterbo University Invitational.
