Luther finished fifth at the Wartburg Spring Invitational held at the Par 72, 6,614 yard Centennial Oaks Country Club, Waverly, Iowa. This tournament was reduced to an 18-hole tournament due to weather conditions all day Sunday.

The Norse carded an 18-hole score of 306. Wartburg won the team title with a 298. Simpson was second at 300 followed by Kirkwood and the Wartburg Orage squad at 301.

Andrew Peter posted a top-10 finish. Peter shot 74 and finished in a five-way tie for eighth. Joel Bruns (T13 - 75), Matt Axelrod (T20 - 76), Tobias Kohl (T44 - 81) and Adam Turner (T44 - 81) completed the Norse five.

Ben Kerns (T36 - 79) and Sam Grotnes (T41 - 80) played as individuals.

The Norse return to action April 21-22 when they will play in the Gustavus Adolphus Invitational.
