Luther shot a two-day total of 615 and finished in a two-way tie with UW-Stout at the St. John's Fall Invitational. Twenty-one teams played in the tournament that was played on Blackberry Ridge Golf Course, Sartell, Minn., and Greystone Golf Course, Sauk Centre, Minn.
University of Manitoba won the team title by two strokes over Nebraska Wesleyan University. Manitoba shot a two-day total of 590, while Nebraska Wesleyan carded a 592.
Individually, Andrew Peter finished in a three-way tie for fifth, shooting rounds of 75-71-146. Bryce Barr of Manitoba and Josh Grisa of UW-Stout tied for medalist honors with one under par 143.
The remainder of Luther's top five and how they finished included Elliot Horst (T35 - 81-74-155), Matt Axelrod (T58 - 84-76-160), Tobias Kohl (T58 - 82-78-160) and Joel Bruns (T71 - 78-84-162). Sam Grotnes played as an individual and finished 84th with a 166.
Luther will travel to Eau Claire, Wis., for the two-day UW-Eau Claire Invitational Sept. 23-24.
