Men's Golf - Augsburg Invitational

The men's golf team traveled to Majestic Oaks Golf Course, Ham Lake, Minn., for the two-day Augsburg Invitational. The Norse finished the two-day tournament in second place carding a (305-307-612). Gustavus Adolphus won the team title with a 600.
Individually, Tobias Kohl and Andrew Peter posted top-10 finishes from the field of 85 golfers. Kohl shot a two-day total of 150 and finished fourth. Peter finished in a four-way tie for fifth with a 151.
Completing Head Coach Scott Fjelstul's five and how they finished included Joel Bruns (T14th - 155), Elliot Horst (18th - 156) and Adam Turner (T36th - 161). Matt Axelrod played as an individual and finished T22nd with a 158.
The Norse will return to action Sept. 15-16, when they will travel to Sauk Centre, Minn., for the two-day St. John's University Invitational.
