UW-Eau Claire had its top five runners all finish in the top six positions en route to the team title of the 2012 JV Cup. Eau Claire posted a team total of 19 points, finishing ahead of Augustana-Rock Island with 62 and Luther with 72. UW-Platteville was fourth at 105 and UW-Stout finished fifth with 123.

Brock Laue led the Norse seven crossing the finish line in 11th place overall from the field of 75 runners. Laue posted a time of 26:47.6 on the 8K course.

Completing the top-seven for the Norse and where they finished included Kurt Hellmann (12th - 26:48.3), Soren Thompson (13th - 26:51.5), Clare Brandt (17th - 27:00.4), Tim Semmen (19th - 27:01.7), Matt Weitzel (22nd - 27:04.5), and John Freude (25th - 27:15.1).
