Men's Cross Country - IIAC Championships

Three Luther runners finished in the top-15 and earned all-conference honors as the Norse finished third at the Iowa Conference Championships today in Cedar Rapids. Coe College hosted the 8K race at Noelridge Park.

Central College won its first ever league title posting a point total of 33 points. Loras College was second with 50, followed by Luther with 70.

Austin Bauer, Marty Mitchell and Alex Rigdon earned all-conference honors. Bauer placed seventh (25:48.1), Mitchell was 11th (25:56.2) and Rigdon was 13th (25:56.7). Bauer and Mitchell earned all-conference honors for the second time of their careers, while Rigdon earned this honor for the first time.

Completing Luther's top seven and how they finished included Tyler Broadwell (17th - 26:06.3), Jack Espeset (22nd - 26:28.2) and Matt Rubins (25th - 26:30.2).
