Two-year letter winner in cross country, three times in track and once in nordic skiing while at Eden Prairie High...earned Lake Conference all-conference honors in cross country...served as team captain and helped lead Eagles to a second place finish at the Minnesota 2A State meet and a fourth place finish at the Nike Regionals...also served as captain of the nordic ski team...son of Dave Beniak and Jan Schmidt.
