The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) has announced that Jack Espeset was named the Runner of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 21.

Espeset, a freshman, finished second in the field of 33 runners and led the Norse to a 23-34 victory over Wis.-La Crosse in the 57th annual duel between the two programs. He completed the 4-mile course at Luther College 21:22.8 and was 14 seconds back of La Crosse's Carlton Folster.
