Four Norse recorded double digits as Luther defeated Dominican University 83-75 in the season opener for both teams. This was the first of two games the Norse will play in the River Forest Classic (IL).

Tyler Wedemeier produced a double-double, scoring 23 points and collecting 11 rebounds. Wedemeier also was credited with three blocked shots. Michael Crocker also tallied 23 points, doing the majority of his damage at the free throw line, connecting on 15 of 17 attempts. John Androus and Zach Matos-Pritchard completed the list of double digit scorers with 12 and 11 points respectively.
