John Androus and Jake Martin Named All-Iowa Conference

The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) has announced that John Androus and Jake Martin have been named to the 2013-14 all-conference team.

Androus, who led the Norse in scoring with 487 points, is being recognized on the all-conference team for the third time. He was a second team selection (2011-12), named Defensive Player of the Year (2012-13) and was a first-team honoree this year.

Martin, who joined the Norse from College of DuPage, finished second on the team in scoring with 337 points and led the team in rebounding with 236.

Androus was ranked fifth in the IIAC in scoring (18.7), second in both rebounding (8.6) and field goal percentage (56.2) and fourth in assists (2.93), 

Martin completed his first year in the league ranked third in rebounding (8.0), ninth in scoring (14.3), sixth in three-point baskets made (2.0), and 11th in field goal percentage (47.3).

Luther finished 17-11, 7-7 in the Iowa Conference. The Norse were the No. 6 seed for the Iowa Conference Tournament and advanced to the championship game where they were defeated by No. 1 Central 74-70.
