Andrew transferred to Luther from Rochester Community and Technical College and describes the adjustment to campus life as an easy one. “I made a lot of good friends right away. Some other baseball guys and I formed an intramural basketball team and had a blast doing it!”

Briggs was able to meet and practice with the team early in the school year as Luther conducts fall baseball workouts and scrimmages. “All of the baseball guys were very welcoming and friendly to me in the beginning and throughout the year,” he says.

The outfielder also speaks highly of living in northeast Iowa. “I’m a big outdoors guy and love to hunt and fish. I have made some pretty good friends not just on the baseball team but through the outdoor life as well.”
