Campers will experience championship training methods developed by the Luther College wrestling team and head coach Dave Mitchell. Campers will participate in work-outs the Luther wrestling team does in and out of season. Each camper will be assigned to a counselor, and each counselor will be assigned to 10 or less campers. Thus, campers will get much one-on-one attention. There will be significant technical, mental, cardiovascular and strength growth opportunities for the campers. We view live wrestling and drilling as the best cardiovascular training for wrestling. Therefore, this camp will incorporate more wrestling and drilling than running and sprinting.

The Train Like a Norseman Intensive Training Camp is designed to provide campers with an intensive training setting which will help them reach a new level next season. Many campers have spoken highly of the impact this camp had on their success the following season!

"I would like to thank you for teaching my son Tanner wrestling techniques and how to become a better wrestler at your camp. He was struggling at the varsity level last year. This year he has become a very positive and smart wrestler. He has more confidence in himself, and cares more about everything, including his studies and his future.

I want to thank you Coach Mitchell, and the camp wrestling staff for all the wonderful things you have done for my son."

Kelli, from Minnesota

Attending our "Train Like a Norseman" Intensive Training Camp and one of our Team Camps provides an excellent 9 day camp experience at a fraction of the cost of most 7-10 day camps.
