The University of Dubuque remained unbeaten as it handed Luther a 79-69 loss in the Stoltz Sports Center.
The Spartans put together a 23-6 run in the final eight minutes of the first half that proved to be the difference in the game en route to a 45-30 halftime lead.
Luther was led by John Androus and Jake Martin who tallied 21 and 18 points respectively. This duo also led the Norse on the boards collecting nearly half of the team's 42 total rebounds. Martin was credited with nine rebounds, while Androus grabbed eight.
Chris Frazier paced the Spartans with a game high 25 points. Andre Norris recorded a double-double, thanks to 17 points and 10 rebounds, and Gage Heffernan chipped in 15.
The loss drops Luther's Iowa Conference record to 0-3, 8-6 overall. Dubuque moved to 3-0, 14-0 overall.
Luther travels to Simpson College (0-3, 2-12) on Saturday. Tip-off will take place at 4:00 p.m.
