No. 6 Luther improved to 3-1-0 after posting a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over St. John's University (MN) this afternoon.
Trailing 2-0 after the 37th minute, the Norse scored in the 40th, 45th and 84th minutes to secure the victory. Aaron Fargo (1) took the goose egg off the scoreboard at 40:28 assisted by Jon Gednalske (1) and Clay Walker (1). Logan Martell (2) leveled the score at 45:50 on a blast to far right corner of the net, assisted by James Garcia-Prats (2). Gednalske scored the game winner at 84:24, finding the left inside corner of the Johnnies net. He was assisted by JW Slauson on the play.
The Norse applied pressure through out the match out shooting the Johnnies 21-15 and placing 10 shots on goal.
Luther returns to action one week from today when it will travel to St. Olaf College for a match that will begin at 3:00 p.m.
