The Urban Plunge

From May 5th through May 6th the Sociology AFST 345 class visited the Minneapolis area to experience an "Urban Plunge" hosted by Karen Johnson ('61). They spent the two days exploring anti-racism efforts in the Twin Cities including Salem English Lutheran Church, Loaves and Fishes, Division of Indian Works, and Zoom House.  The students reported their favorite sites were the dining facility and alternatives school sites.
