Composition: Private Lesson (MUS 338)
Individual composition lessons designed to develop compositional facility in a variety of styles and media. Students also participate in a weekly composition seminar and interact with guest composers.
Orchestration (MUS 371)
A study of the fundamentals and practices of arranging and composing for large ensembles. Course culminates with readings of student arrangements and/or compositions
