Curriculum
The Center oversees the teaching of Global Citizenship, a seminar designed for students who are returning from study abroad. Maynard Anderson spoke to the Global Citizenship & Political Leadership courses on Monday, March 8, 2010.
Dr. David Heine team-taught Health Care Ethics Paideia II with Associate Professor Jayme Nelson (Nursing) and Assistant Professor Craig Rabe (Econ/Business).
During January Term 2009, the Center brought Elizabeth J. Thomson, Program Director of The Ethical, Legal, and Social Implications Research Program at the National Human Genome Research Institute, to speak to the Health Care Ethics Paideia II class. Thomson, a native of Waukon, Iowa was on campus Jan. 22 & 23.
In January Term 2008, the Center brought Donald Klinefelter, Emeritus Professor of Religion at University of Tennessee-Chatanooga, to team-teach Health Care Ethics Paideia II with Associate Professor Jayme Nelson (Nursing) and Associate Professor Scott Carlson (Biology).
