Explore Luther: A First Look

Explore Luther: A First Look is designed to provide you with an overview of Luther College.

While the registration form for Explore Luther: A First Look is no longer active, we still invite prospective students to attend. Registration will be held in the Dahl Centennial Union.

If you are a high school junior or senior just getting started with the college search, visiting us during this event is a great option to get an introductory look at Luther. Make sure to bring your parents, since we have activities for them, too.

The registration deadline for Explore Luther is Thursday, October 6.

Explore Luther: A First Look Schedule

8:45 – 11:00 a.m. -- Registration in the Dahl Centennial Union

Early-Arrival Options:

9:15 a.m. -- Campus Tour

10:30 a.m. -- Chapel (optional)

Main Schedule:

11:00 a.m. -- Introduction to Luther

11:40 a.m. -- Academic Department Visit

12:15 p.m. -- Activities Fair – learn about study abroad, residence life, student activities, etc.

12:45 p.m. -- Lunch

1:30 p.m. -- Academic Fair

Late Departure Options:

2:00 p.m. -- Financial Aid Session or Student-to-Student Conversation

2:00 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. -- Campus Tour (60 minutes)

You may also select to attend any of the following music ensemble rehearsals:

• 12:15 p.m. -- Concert Band
• 1:30 p.m. -- Aurora/Norsemen (First-year choirs)
• 2:45 p.m. -- Jazz Band
• 2:45 p.m. -- Wind & Percussion Ensemble
• 4:00 p.m. -- Chamber Orchestra
