"Preparing Leaders for a New Global Environment: The Role of the University"
The opening convocation for spring 2011, to be held in the CFL, will also be Luther's sesquicentennial kick-off celebration. The president of the University of Oslo, Dr. Ole Petter Ottersen, will speak on "Preparing Leaders for a New Global Environment: The Role of the University." Many descendants of Luther College's founders will be in attendance and Dean Craft's sesquicentennial hymn, "Invocation," will be premiered. The entire community is encouraged to participate.
