Experience Uganda! Rhythmic drumming, vibrant voices, and agile dancers bring to life lush East Africa. On stage, 22 vividly attired performers, ages 8–18, share the culture and legends of their homeland in old and new stories. These marvelously spirited performers are also impassioned ambassadors for Uganda’s 2.4 million orphans from civil war and HIV/AIDS. The New York Times raves that they “invigorate the stage with that elusive thing called joy!”
