    Best-selling author Karen Joy Fowler to give Opening Convocation address

    Award-winning and critically acclaimed author Karen Joy Fowler will speak about her novel "We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves" as she gives the Luther College Opening Convocation address on Thursday, Sept. 1. Convocation begins at 9:40 a.m. in the Center for Faith and Life Main Hall on the Luther campus.

    Luther hosts event for Chargepoint electrical vehicle charging station

    In May 2016, Luther College installed a Chargepoint Electric Vehicle Charging Station behind the F.W. Olin Building. Luther will host Chris Schneider, president of Honda Motorwerks of La Crosse, Wisconsin, from 2-3 p.m., Friday, Aug. 12, in the Library Parking Lot behind Luther's Olin Building, to discuss the benefits and environmental impact of having a charging station on campus. The event is open to the public with no charge for admission.
