Amanda Bailey

The 2014–15 Luther College Women’s Basketball team is looking forward to showcasing many new faces this season. The Norse will return two individuals from their starting lineup and will look to many young players to fill roles lost to graduation. The team will play a competitive regular-season schedule of 25 games in the IIAC Conference and throughout the Midwest Region, including a trip to play in the Music City Classic Nashville, Tennessee.

As an Athlete

  • Two-time WBCA Kodak All-American
  • 2005 NCAA III National Player of the Year
  • Three-time all-conference and two-time WIAC Player of the Year.
  • Completed her career as the Pointers all-time leading scorer with 1,801 points
  • Helped lead the Pointers to a record of 101-19 during her career and the 2002 NCAA III national championship and a fourth place finish in the national tournament in 2004
  • As a member of the Pointers track and field team, she was a four-time All-American in the shot put and once in the discus
