Symphony Orchestra Concert

The Luther College Symphony Orchestra will perform in concert Sunday, Nov. 14, at 4 p.m., in the Center for Faith and Life main hall. The concert is open to the public with no charge for admission. The orchestra, directed by Daniel Baldwin, Luther professor of music, will perform Overture to "A Midsummer Night's Dream," Op. 21 by Felix Mendelssohn, "The Red Pony" film suite by Aaron Copland, "Fantasia"on a Theme by Thomas Tallis" composed by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Concerto in F for Piano and Orchestra by George Gershwin featuring Xiao Hu, Luther adjunct faculty in music, on piano.
