Jr. Recital: Megan Kundel/Daniel Ray, Voice/Violin

Megan Kundel, junior, and Daniel Ray, junior, will perform a voice/violin recital at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, in the Noble Recital Hall of the Jenson-Noble Hall of Music on the Luther College campus.

Kundel will be performing Purcell’s “Hark! How all things in one sound”, Clara Schumann’s “Liebst du um Schönheit”, Brahms’s “Meine Liebe ist grün”, two selections by Debussy: “Les Cloches” and “Romance”, Amy Beach’s “Take, O Take those Lips Away”, Roger Quilter’s “Over the Mountains”, and lastly Adriana’s aria, “Io son l’umile anchella” from Francesco Cilèa’s opera, Andriana Lecouvreur.

Ray will be performing Violin Concerto no. 1 in A minor by Dmitri Shostakovich and the Chaconne from Partita no. 2 in D minor for violin by Johann Sebastian Bach.

Kundel is a student of Edwin Andereck and Ray is a student of Tarn Travers.
