Norsemen and Aurora Concert

The Luther College Music Department presents a concert featuring the Aurora and Norsemen choirs at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 28th, in the Center for Faith and Life Main Hall on the Luther campus. The concert is open to the public with no charge for admission.

Aurora, comprised of first-year female singers, is under the direction of Jennaya Robison, assistant professor of music. Aurora is actively involved in the creation of new music, premiering works from Libby Larsen, Mack Wilberg and many other composers. The choir will be joined by collaborative pianist, CJ Heck, Luther class of 2019.

Norsemen, an ensemble of first-year male singers, is under the direction of Andrew Last, assistant professor of music. Norsemen has performed at several North Central American Choral Directors Association conferences, most recently at the 2011 NC-ACDA convention in Chicago.

Additionally, the winners of the Timothy and Sandra Peter Leadership Award Scholarship will be named at the performance.
