Sessions

Multiple sessions be offered throughout the day and you will have the opportunity to watch the ideas in action by observing clinicians working with Junior High Dorian campers. Evening choral labs and dancing events will top off the experience. Sessions include:

  • Dr. Brooke Joyce: Teaching Beginning Composition and Electronic Music
  • Andrew Ellingsen: Movement in the Elementary Classroom
  • Leon Kuehner and Liz Fritz: Unpacking Standards, Incorporating Standards in MS/HS band
  • Jason Rausch and Sarah Zbornik: Composition in the High School Choral Rehearsal
  • Dan Black – Individualized Learning Experiences in the Instrumental Large Ensemble Classroom; Creating a Four-Year Experience in an Ensemble
  • Dr. Dan Baldwin – Conducting Workshop
  • and so much more!

Credits

On-campus housing will be available along with 1 or 2 graduate (additional assignments will follow the workshop) or 1 or 2 recertification (attendance only) credits. Come for one day or stay for all four! Enjoy a flexible schedule with something for educators at every level!
