Modern Languages, Literatures and Linguistics
In the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Linguistics at Luther College, you can study the languages, cultures and literatures of many areas of the globe. Knowledge of world languages and cultures can open up a whole new world for you: communicating with people of different cultural and linguistic backgrounds; travel and study abroad; service and professional opportunities. The department also offers courses in Linguistics.

Students can pursuit majors and/or minors in the following programs:
- Chinese (Asian Studies minor)
- Linguistics (minor only)
