Holden Evening Prayer

9:00 p.m. Wednesday
Recital Hall in the Center for Faith and Life

This student-led service invites the community to a brief time of song, prayer, and silent reflection followed by time for fellowship.

Holden Evening Prayer is a beautiful service based on the ancient church tradition of “vespers.” The service was originally written by Luther alum Marty Haugen ‘73 for the community at Holden Village, using music and language that are both contemporary and inclusive.

Students serve as cantors or offer special music. If you’d like to serve as a musician contact ministry@luther.edu.
