List on and off campus activities and leadership experiences that are relevant to desired position (i.e. involvement in College Ministries at Luther, home congregation, camps, and other ministries): Math minor, Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp counselor, very strong involvement in home congregation (youth group, mentoring, helping with worship), play on Luther Women's Basketball team, involved with PALS and Outreach, RA in Ylvisaker
What gifts do you bring to the Luther Congregation and to the council? The gifts that I bring to the Luther college congregation are that I am patient and enjoy listening to people and engaging in caring conversations. I also deeply care about other people and sharing my faith is incredibly important to me.
As a spiritual leader, how do you nurture your spiritual life, individually and within the community? In order to nurture my own spiritual life, I attend worship as often as I can. More importantly, though, I make a point to take church outside of the church building. I do this by helping others in need and engaging in caring conversations.
Please include a brief statement describing your goals, challenges and vision for the Luther Congregation’s ministry. : To create a caring and loving environment that welcomes ALL to come and grow in their faith with one another. This will be done by learning to overcome prejudices and social inequalities and loving each other as God's children.
