PALS is Luther College's big brother/big sister program. The PALS program pairs Luther students with area elementary and middle-school students to encourage mentoring relationships. PALS teams meet monthly throughout the school year. Stay tuned for this year's schedule of events!

PALs was one of my favorite experiences I had at Luther. In my freshmen year, I was paired with a boy in kindergarten who was shy and very young. To see him grow up into now a vibrant, out-going 3rd grader has been truly incredible and I extremely value the relationship we have built over the past 4 years. I believe PALS is an excellent organization for it allows Luther students to become role models for younger students in addition to interacting with the greater Decorah community, teaching valuable ethical, communication, and leadership skills. - PALS member
