Leader’s Name: Matthew Dalthorp

“Transitions”
Description: Ruth knew a thing or two about transition--having experienced great loss, and figuring out a way to make it in a completely new community. How might this complex and compelling story in the Bible help us think of our own transition as we adjust to college life or think about life after college? What might we learn as we listen to the voices of those who, like Ruth, have faced great loss and migration?
Leaders: Pastor David Vasquez, Trena Montgomery '09, Thando May
Email Contact: vasqda01@luther.edu, trenamontgomery@gmail.com, mayth01@luther.edu
Meeting Day, Time and Start Date: Wednesdays at noon. Six weeks starting Sept 21
Location: Melanchthon Interfaith Room, CFL 206
“The Conversation”
Description: A study of different questions that people have about God and how it relates to life. Basically I will have a verse or topic from my devotion or I will invite people to ask a question that we can all discuss. It's not a theological debate; it's a friendly group discussion where we reconcile what we think about the Bible with what it actually says as well as coming up with responses for the questions we often get asked as Christians.
