College Ministries would like to thank all who participated in worship during the past year. The attendance of community members and the many contributions of preachers, musicians and artists greatly enrich our worship life. Our regular worship schedule will resume in the fall with Sunday Morning Worship on August 31 and Weekday Chapel on September 3. Opening Convocation is September 4. We wish all students, faculty and staff a safe and relaxing summer.

Be a "faith friend" for incoming students. If you and your friends would be willing to be paired up with incoming students to connect to the faith community at Luther College- please join Kelli Gapinski and Pr. Amy for brunch conversation in the CAF, today, Sunday, May 18. We'll talk about this new opportunity and how you can participate next year. If you can't come to brunch but want to participate, email firstname.lastname@example.org before May 18.
New Work Study Position, Sunday Morning Peer Mentor, 1 Remaining Position, 3 Hours per Week. Supervisor: Pastor Amy. Responsibilities: come up with creative ways to invite students to Sunday worship; take care of pre and/or post service food; welcome students at worship; get conversation going before worship; develop creative ways for students to connect before and after worship; invite students to a brunch conversation in the caf with a pastor after worship; and help to keep the conversation going at brunch. Would need to be at worship most Sunday mornings and would need to ensure that at least one of the two mentors is there every Sunday.
The community is invited to Baccalaureate, Saturday, May 24, 8:00 p.m. in the CFL. This ecumenical service celebrates the college’s Christian heritage and the spiritual diversity of the community by incorporating readings and prayers from religious traditions of the graduating class. Join us as we give thanks for the class of 2014 and send them off with the community’s love and prayers. For details about on-line streaming and audio recording of the service, visit http://www.luther.edu/
