Responsible for public relations, promotions, statistics, records and publications for the athletic program. Duties include preparation and management of the sports information budget, supervision of student workers, and media relations for all home athletic events.

CRM Coordinator

Catherine coordinates the process of composing, sending, and analyzing email marketing communications. Working with a variety of Luther departments and offices, Catherine’s goal is to help connect audiences of alumni and friends with information relevant to their specific interests.

Tabita Green

Director of Web Content

Tabita manages the team of web content coordinators and web designers, including professional staff and student workers, that creates, maintains, and optimizes the luther.edu website. The web team also trains and works with content contributors around campus. In addition, Tabita is responsible for online marketing and reporting.

Eric Ellingsen

Coordinator for Music Organizations and Marketing

Eric manages the Music Organizations office for Luther College overseeing all music tours and marketing for the Music Department. He plans and implements all tours for the Luther College Choirs, and as a Luther alumnus (1999), he has first-hand knowledge of the educational importance of tours and the music experience of Luther College. Eric also acts as Production Manager for the annual Christmas at Luther concerts.

Rob K. Larson

Vice President for Communications and Marketing

Rob Larson is the Vice President for Communications and Marketing at Luther College and a member of the President's Leadership Cabinet. Professor Larson has been a member of the Economics and Business faculty since 2003, focusing on the topics of marketing, investment management, and entrepreneurship.

Aaron Lurth

Director of Visual Media/Staff Instructor

Aaron manages a team of roughly 20 student-workers whose primary job is the creation of nearly all marketing and communications photography and videography produced by the college. Aaron’s department also offers a portrait and passport service to all faculty, staff and students on campus.

Ellen Modersohn

Director of Publications and Design

Ellen manages the team of graphic designers and writers, including professionals and student workers, that creates printed work for Luther departments and organizations. Their work includes such things as the annual Center Stage Series brochure, the Luther Alumni Magazine, lecture posters, Admissions brochures, campus signage, display advertisements, and some content and graphics for luther.edu. Ellen also works with Julie Shockey, helping to oversee the Campus News Office.

Coordinator of Campus News

Julie, a member of the Communications and Marketing team since 2001, oversees the Campus News office which includes a team of professional staff and student writers. She coordinates the Emergency Communication Team, and assists in media relations campus wide. As a Luther alumna, she is thrilled to be able to contribute to the Alumni Magazine.
