Attendees of Black Alumni Reunion, October 2013

The most recent Black Alumni Reunion, held in Decorah during Homecoming last October, drew more than 30 alumni and students for a weekend of programming that, in addition to a gridiron victory over Loras College in front of a vocal Carlson Stadium crowd, included an opening reception at Rubaiyat restaurant; a dinner featuring Novian Whitsitt, Luther associate professor of Africana studies and English, and Guy Nave, Luther associate professor of religion, as speakers; and a closing brunch, also held at Rubaiyat.
